Glasgow FPV is a community of FPV pilots based in and around Glasgow, Scotland. We're a friendly group of pilots, makers, and tinkerers who love all things FPV — from tiny whoops to full-size racing and freestyle rigs, to planes, wings, and everything in between.
We operate as a casual BMFA-affiliated club. Membership is £10 a month, which we collectively use to pay for our flying field, maintain the gates and temperamental lawnmower, and other various bits and pieces that keep us going.
We're lucky to have our own flying field at Craufurdland Castle Estate near Kilmarnock which we practice and run races at regularly. Since it's summer, we're out there every Tuesday evening, weather permitting.
On the first Tuesday of every month from 8pm onwards though, we fly tiny whoops indoors at Calton Heritage & Learning Centre near the Barrowlands instead — £10 a session.
Beyond that, folk like to fly all over the place — our Discord is the best place to find out what people are up to.
The best way to get involved is to hop into our Discord for a chat — that's where we (for better or worse) do most of our organising at the moment. All skill levels are welcome: some of us have been flying for years; some of us are only just getting started.
The information here is up to date as of June 2026.
We're a registered Scottish charity (Glasgow First Person View Drone Community, SC054403).
We're a BMFA-affiliated club (CL003079).
